  Photo taken on Hornoya Island where the birds are very accustomed to the presence of people, which gives a chance for original close-up shots. I have always been fascinated by the beauty of the green eyes of the common shags and such close-up shot also reveals their incredible structure and the yellow ring around the pupil which perfectly matches the color of their skin around their beaks. Nature is truly amazing!
