  At the beginning of winter, on a freezing pond near my house, several birds stopped - mallards, coots and one young great grebe. With frosts, the water mirror became smaller and, one day, only a small mirror of water remained, literally a few square meters. This mirror of water is conveniently located opposite the bridge with active car traffic.
